Louise Hurley - Owner/Manager/DSL
Hello, my name is Louise, and I bring over 22 years of experience in education and childcare to Hurley Birds Nursery. After graduating as a Secondary High School Teacher, I have had the privilege of working in two large mixed comprehensive high schools, where I sharpened my skills and passion for nurturing young minds.
As a parent of 11-year-old twins, one of whom has Special Educational Needs (SEN), I understand the unique challenges and rewards that come with raising children. Furthermore, my experience as a foster parent has deepened my commitment to providing compassionate and supportive care for all children.
Choosing a nursery can be a daunting task, especially for working parents of young children. It requires placing immense trust in someone else to care for your most precious treasures. I vividly recall the anxiety and hope I felt when making such decisions for my own children.
At Hurley Birds Nursery, we take that leap of faith very seriously. Your child will always be at the heart of everything we do. Their welfare is not just a priority; it is a core value that we stand for and integrate into every aspect of our nursery environment. We strive to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating space where your child can thrive, learn, and grow. Every child's journey is unique, and witnessing their milestones—whether it's their first step, first word, or first time tying their shoes—fills me with an indescribable sense of fulfilment. These moments are not just achievements for the children, but also profound experiences for me, as they reflect the impact of care, support, and guidance. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with your children and become a part of their lives. I look forward to fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where they can flourish and explore their potential.
Thank you for considering Hurley Birds Nursery. We look forward to partnering with you in this wonderful journey of your child's early education and development.
Shaniese
Hello, my name is Shaniese. I am a level 3 qualified childcare professional with 10 years of experience working with children aged between 3 months and 4 years. I have a deep passion for creativity and love engaging in arts and crafts activities.
I believe that a child's imagination is one of the most fascinating aspects of their development, as it allows them to express themselves without the need for words. It excites me to see children flourish and grow, developing their unique personalities and skills.
I am looking forward to meeting you and contributing to the growth and development of your child!
Peggy
With nearly 50 years of experience working with children from birth, I have devoted my life to nurturing the growth and development of young minds. Throughout my career, the most rewarding moments have always been seeing their faces light up with joy and amazement when they discover something new or accomplish a task independently for the first time. Meeting and interacting with each child is something I eagerly anticipate, and I am committed to making a positive difference in their lives. I am excited to meet your children and embark on this adventure together.
